Boa constrictor ortonii

In year 1878 an explorer Cope described in Peru next subspecies of Boa constrictor called Boa constrictor ortonii. Dark colored snakes live in altitude above sea-level over 1000 meters and they fight here with really hard living conditions. In altitude over 1900 meters, where in winter season the temperatures go down on approx. 10 degrees of Celsius, are these survive specialist inactive. Although can these special snakes grow up to 3 meters of length.
