Arabesque
Is very attractive co-dominant color form of Boa constrictor.
Color form of Boa constrictor called Arabesque has very interesting and
attractive coloration. Pattern is longitudinal connected with saddles in
“ladder”, tail is called ladder tail. Saddles are extremely slim, on sides
of body are usually none. Massive parietal pattern is also characteristic
sign of this form.
First breeder, who recorded this co-dominant trait, was Steve Hammond in year
1989. Today are Arabesque boas used in crossing with albinos and hypos
mutations to get the ladder trait in various color forms. The price of
original Arabesque boas and colored Arabesques is up today still very high.
